🚦 DriveDeutsch

Frequently Asked Questions

Is DriveDeutsch official exam material?+

No. DriveDeutsch is an independent, personal project for practicing vocabulary and traffic signs. It has no connection to any driving school, examination office (e.g. TÜV/DEKRA), or government authority, and doesn't replace official preparation for the theory or practical test.

Is the app free?+

Yes, completely free. The app is funded by ads, which only load after you give explicit consent.

Do I need to create an account?+

No. Your learning progress is saved automatically on your own device, no sign-up required.

Which languages are supported?+

German, Turkish, English, Arabic, Russian, Polish, Romanian, Bulgarian, Spanish, and Italian. You can choose the interface language and the translation language independently.

What is "Drive" mode?+

A 3D driving simulation: you drive along a route and stop at each traffic sign or info board to answer a question about it — learning signs in realistic context instead of by rote.

What is the "3D Studio"?+

An interactive 3D car you can rotate and tap to learn the German names of its parts — exterior lights, interior, engine bay, trunk, and tires.

Does the app work offline?+

You can add DriveDeutsch to your phone's home screen from the browser to open it like an app. An internet connection is still needed to load new content and the 3D features.

Does the app guarantee I'll pass the exam?+

No, no guarantee can be given (see Terms of Use). DriveDeutsch is a learning aid for vocabulary and traffic signs, not a certified exam course.

What happens to my data?+

Your learning progress stays on your device. An account feature exists in the code but is not currently enabled — no account or login data is processed at this time. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

I found a mistake or have a suggestion — what now?+

Feel free to write to me via the Contact page — every bit of feedback helps make the app better.
